I`m really getting bad at keeping this thing going..... I`m sorry. I`m at school from 10am till 3pm and straight after that I go to work from 4pm till 10pm...but sometimes work doesn`t finish on time that I don`t get home till 11pm. Even worse, on weekends I have work from 8am and though I finish early like at 4pm by the time I get home I`m so tired I just fall asleep....I know it sound like excuses... *sob*

So, we`re already into April. Since moving over to Japan and my last blog in January, alot of things have happened. Just where to begin heh?

3rd January:

Well, just before school started again I met up with the BST gang (again) since the first time we gathered up Adrian was in America and so this time we all went to a shrine in Monzen-Nakachou to go pray for a good year.... Was so nice to talk to everyone. Our BST class is like forever mates!!

Above: group pic (without Rika as she hadn`t arrived yet...)

Above from left: (the boys) Kento, Yuri, Shan and Adrian

Above from left: (the girls) Fumiyo, Rika, me and Arisa

Above: A pic at the "purikura" booth of the boys and me (after the other girls went home) and we 5 all had one too many to drink!!

4th January:

Today was Chinn`s ('my friend from work) 24th Birthday so I met up with him and took some pics at the "purikura" booth in town and afterwards we went to Hashimoto`s (another friend from work) house to celebrate with a birthday cake!!

Above: Chinn and me

5th January:

After work I met up with Adrian, Shan, Yuri and Rika (ex-BST people) to go to Roppongi to go watch "Geisha" at the Virgin Cinema`s as it`s so wicked to watch a film there because it`s so huge.... after that we headed for Shibuya and well.... we were all naughty little girls and boys and bought some drinks at a convinience store and got comfy at a local park near our old school BST and we just had fun!!

Above: Adrian and me

Above: Shan and me

Above: Rika and me... Rika looking so cute as usual!

15th January:

Had a big gather up with my YMCA people at our beloved Yoyogi park. In total we had about 40 odd people in and our of the place and we just sang songs, played games and of course had dinner together at the end.

Above: We have Gou-chann on the guitar...

Above: And Akira on the viola...

Above: I think their sinnging.... (>_<)

Above from left: Ecchann, Shibako, Ryou (aka Simba) and Sou-chann waiting to get into the restaurant for dinner!!

Above: Ryou (aka Simba) doing stupid things (again....)

17th January:

Went bowling with my two friends from work Hashimoto and Chinn. I won the game which made me very happy and then we had dinner at MacDonalds. The kind of fun we have between the short free time we have....

21st January:

It snowed in Tokyo and I was out in Shinjuku (in the freezing cold) with Kana just talked loads and loads and took loads of snaps at the "purikura" booth.

Above: Kana and I

Above: A shot of the park in front of my grandmas apartment

Above: Another shot of the park

29th January:

Took my grandma to Roppongi and we watched a film at Virgin Cinema`s (again) and then I took her to "Cold Stone Creamery" which is a posh ice cream parlour...mmmm, yum yum!!

Above: The yummy ice creams!!

1st Febuary:

Kana`s birthday so we went to the Hotel Prince in Shinjuku and had dinner at the top floor and then took loads of pics at the "purikura" booth again....

Above from left: Me, Kana and Miho

Above from left: Kana, Miho and me

4th Febuary:

Met up with Ikeda-chann (a girl from work) and we had a loooong nice girlie chat at MacDonalds before going over to Hashimoto`s house and preparing for a meal which Chinn later on joined us. Was so fun talking and having a laugh bout stuff. Ikeda-chann went home before to late and Chinn and I stayed the night...

Above: Water Dumplings that Chinn brought...it was very yummy!!

Above: Ikeda-chann cooking(?)

8th Febuary:

Bunked off school and went to Tokyo Disney Sea with Kana (and supposedly Miho, who came like 2 hours before the place shut). Still, Kana and I had fun I think.....

14th Febuary:

Happy St. Valentines Day?!  Though I hardly had any time I made some chocolate for my work friends Hashimoto and Chinn.... I personally though I owed it to them so... yeah.

Above: This is what the wrapping looked like...

Above: This one was for Hashimoto but Chinn`s looked excatly the same (>_<)

Above: A "purikura" pic of Kana and I getting excited towards Valentines Day!

18th Febuary:

Had so much shit going on around me that after work Hashimoto invited me round his house (aslong as I cooked) so I did and we talked loads and loads and just chilled out.

19th Febuary:

Went and had a slight trim with my hair.... honest opinion? Nothings changed, lol

23rd Febuary:

School trip to the Aquarium at "Kasai Rinnkai Kouenn" (in English, "Kasai Sea Side Park"). Not everyone from school came but those who did had loads of fun. It was such a pity I had to leave early because I had work...(UU)

Above: Sort of group photo? (from lef) Saori, Ayaka, Hiroki, Tsubasa (aka Captain), Yuka, Hanako, Mr. Furuta (teacher) and Kenn-chann... the two infront of everyone is Robyn (teacher) and Yu-ya.

Above from left: Me, Robyn, Sho, Yuka and Yuika

6th March:

Was my friend Nonoka`s 16th Birthday so I got her a cake!

13th March:

Been working so much!! Days just go past with school, work, sleep, school, work... But today was my last day of school so we had a little party and did a little farewell thing for the 3rd years who are graduating and going out into the big scary world.

Above: Everyone enjoying the lunch time meal

Above from left: Yuika and Hanako flashing me a smile

Above: Isamu Teacher playing the guitar

Above: Everyone laughing and having fun....most days my school is just like this

Above from left: Toshihiro and Yuhi  both who are 3rd years so graduating. Such a pity the 3rd years are going because I`e just about managed to become friends and we get on so well. And Yuhi is actually a Car Racer and is in a race training programe for Juniors or something and actually goes and does some races... of course it`s not exactly F1 but I think he`s somewhere in the F3 and other small races. At the moment he`s just began his season for the 2006 ESSO FORMULA TOYOTA SERIES and has a race tomorrow. He has a website but unfortunately it`s all in Japanese.... http://www.yuhi-sekiguchi.jp/

20th March:

Was the actual graduation day for the 3rd years so my friend Nonoka and I went to the ceremony. After that was over a whole bunch of us went to the local Jonathan`s and had lunch talking about the past months we have spent togther and about our futur dreams and stuff. Towards 5:30pm most people had already headed home so Toshihiro and I went to Ikebukuro and met up with the other graduated 3rd year students who didn`t come and have lunch(their more of the night partying people so...). We went to Karaoke and though I was planning on getting the last train home Yuhi pursuaded me in staying for the all nighter with the rest of the people. Was real fun but work from 10am the next morning was so tough I thought I was going to fall asleep!!!

24th March:

Met up with Yuhi at Shibuya to go see "Eight Below" i“ì‹É•¨Œêjand afterwards Take came to Shibuya too and so we went to see another girl called Emi at her work place) which is a mobile shop)....and once her shift was over we all went to have dinner at Friday`s and partyed till 11pm at Shibuya`s club/bar "Gaspanic" .

25th March:

Knew I was going to go out to Roppongi with my old ex-BST friend Aina so I stayed home for the day and caught up on some much needed beauty sleep. Past 10pm and I started to get reaedy to go out. Met up with Aina and she introduced me to her friend Yuri and also Dany. Had such a fab. time and the all nighter was great!!

Above: Aina and me at the Roppongi club/bar "Gaspanic"

Above from left: Aina, Yuri and me

26th March:

After the all nighter I went straight to work and worked a 6 hour shift without any sleep and then I quickly went home and got changed and then set out to Shibuya to go to Robyn`s (my English teachers) birthday party. Quite a few people came from her church association and yuka, Yuika, Hosana, Mari and Hosana came from my school. once the party was over Hosana came over to my house for a sleep over and though I was dead we stayed up till 3am, munching on sweeties and snacks talking about relationships and life and school...total girl talk that I had soooo much fun!!

Above: Robyn with her BIG birthday parfait!!!

29th March:

Nothing special. Just work all day but I was really surprised to go into the back office and greeted with loads of boxes and bags of alcohol crammed into the small place!! Since the Cherry Blossom season has started and there are so many cherry trees near Yotsuya (where my store is) there are twice as many poeple in and out of the store buying alcohol and picnic stuff for the day. And my boss was nice enough to leave me a note asking me to fry up 50 chicken pieces and 60 hot dogs!! How nice of him.... it was quite sickning frying all of it up....

Above: Hashimoto having his shift break in the very much alcohol and beer box buried office.

So....that preety much all what I`ve been upto. Just getting on with my life, going to school, going to work...just, life.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

V”N–¾‚¯‚Ü‚µ‚Ä‚¨‚߂łƂ¤‚²‚´‚¢‚Ü‚·II

So, here we are again thinking where that whole one year has gone and trying to recall what we have achieved, lost, gained.... I say this many time over and over but time always goes by so quickly without realising!

I know this blog is real late but as promised I`m gonna loads those pics up from the UK before I left....

Random Drunken Night at Tommy`s house...

After the hectic busy summer in Japan of course there`s always time to chill out on the weekend at Tommy`s house with a can of beer and a good film (were we watching Grease again??) everyone has a laugh....

Above from left: Me, Tommy (the man himself), Fiona and Alicia (hiding her face with her hair!!) all scrunched up on the sofa!

Above: Max and I dancing....woohooo~

Above from left: Soren (my forever bro!), me and Rene looking veeeery dead....

Last day at Beacon Community College (for me!!)

After thinking alot about my own future and options I decided to go back to Japan so informed my school and told my friends....All my life I`ve been moving around, changing houses and schools but Beacon was actually the longest place I`ve ever stayed!! Year 10, year 11, year 12 and a bit of 13...3 years is a record for me so Congrats to that! And of course with 3 years come many memories and friends!!!

Above: The common room decorated for me!!! Awwww, thanx Alicia and people!

Above: More balooooooons!!

Above: Flowers I received from my Alicia.... was so nice of her!!!

Above: Half eaten cake.....I know, I was supposed to take a picture of it before we hacked in but....oh wells....it was yummy!!

London with Yuta

Not ever been sight seeing in London like a tourist for such a long time I decided to drag Yuta (my only Japanese friend I had when I was in the UK) to go see all the sight spots.

Above: The Millenium Wheel.... still satnding and still famous....can`t believe it`s 6 years since it was built.

Above: The parliament and Big Ben

Above: And Yuta....thanx so much for coming with me and for the whole 4 years I`ve known you....supporting me, helping me, encouraging me, making me cry, making me angry, making smile, laugh and everything else. Thank you!!

MY LEAVING PARTY

At first I thought just a close group of people.....but anything for an excuse for a party right?? Nah, only kidding. Though there was a lot of scrammble with where to have the party, when to have the party and who to invite I`m glad it was all sorted. A big thank you again to Tommy for letting me use his house.....and also thank you to Rayja who made it all the way from Madrid for me (though I didn`t know he was coming) and also thank you to Kaizar who made it down from London and mostly thank you to all those 80 odd people who gathered up just for me...and maybe the party and booz, lol!!

Above from left: Rayja and Kaizar.... I really can`t describe it in words how much I owe it to you two. I know at times I could be a pain in the ass, lazy, bossy and a little bit stupid but nonetheless you have both stood by me and supported me and though we`ve had our share of argument and tears, I know or atleast hope most of it in the end was laughters and fun times. Miss you and love you both!

Above: Me and Jess (my sis).....Ever since you were born we`ve always been together, never apart....16years is a very long time and on top of that I can not desribe how different we are but also how close we are. The countless times of anger, fights, tears, smiles and laughters. For the first time in both our lives we`re physically going to be apart but no matter what or how far we are I`m always here for you and always will be your big sis! Love you loads...

Above: Biiiiiig envelope...?!

Above: Biiiiiig card...?!

Above: Thank you to everyone who wrote/scribbled/signed a message for me in the card! It`s my treasure and a lovely gift!!

Well, after all the busy days of packing and clearing out I made it safely over to Japan, Tokyo to my grandmas house and I`m happily spending my so called new life. My old International friends Arisa, Rika, Kento, Adrian all welcomed me back kindly which was nice of them and I was real happy to see them too!

Above: Arisa and me waiting at MacDonalds for the others to arrive...

Above: Rika arrives so we take a quick snap....

Above: And then atlast the boys arrive...... (from left) Adrian and Kento

Also my YMCA Summer Camp Renunion was a surprising experience where everyone welcomed me back to Japan! I was so happy. My new school (Yotsuya International School) is great and chilled out. I`ve made more friends again and I`ve really settled in well. We`ve go a school trip coming up soon and should be going to Hawaii (will be my second visit, lol) so I`m looking forward to that.

Above from left: Kana, me and Miho....my two new friendsfrom school who recently I`m constantly with...

Above: Me with Miho and Kana again..this time with our Santa hats!!

Above from left: (school friends) Yuka, Yuika and me just a bit before we headed of to a Christmas party at the Shinjuku Metropolitan Goverment Tower Building

Other than school going well I`ve also found my self a part time job at a chain convinience store called "Family Mart" It`s a really famous chain convinience store in Japan and I also found out that our particular small store in Yotsuya actually holds 2nd place in Tokyo for most stock sold for year 2004.....no wonder our shop is always busy. Still, I made 2 real good friends Hashimoto and Chinn and when we all have a free moment we gather up....even went to Tokyo Disney Land togther...!!

Above from left: Hashimoto and Chinn at MacDonalds having dinner...

Above from left: Hashimoto and Chinn infront of the BIG Christmas Tree at Tokyo Disney Land.....

Above from left: (top) Hashimoto and Chinn (bottom) me, Miho and Kana.... DUnno why but my two girlies from school and my two friends from work know each other well because of me?!

With this and that time goes by and the winter holidays kicked in and those ex-BST student who are normally abroad came back to Japan. Fumi-UK, Reo-Canada, Yuri-USA, Shan-HongKong. So Reo (and Fumi) organised a gathering at LaQua (Kourakuenn) a theme park. I was late getting there but none the less we had lots fun....!!

Above from left: Fumi and Kento infront of Buskin Robins 31 Ice Cream....I think we were all waiting for Yuri to come back from the bank where he had gone to change his US dollars to Japanese Yen...

Above from left: Shan and Andrew posing for the camera?!

Above: After LaQua and going to Akihabara for karaoke and dinner we all went to Tokyo Station to go see the light up.....

Anyway, I think I`ve gone on enough about what I`ve been up too....First let me post up this baton from a Japanese friend of mine...(I promised I would do it so....)

Emi's Summer Holiday in Japan 2005

This blog dedicated to all of those people who I was with this summer and made it possible for me to actually write something about my summer... You guys are all great and I love you all....

Sorry that this has taken so long for me to load up and all... but here you go and enjoy!!

July

25th: My flight over to Japan

26th: Rest and recover from my jet lag.....

27th: Jessica's Birthday at Aureole

28th: Shopping with Jessica at Harajuku and Shibuya

29th - 30th: Nagano "Kanaguya" Onnsenn Trip

This "Kanaguya" Hotel in Nagano was the actual hotel that the famous director Hayao Miyazaki took his inspiration for the big hot bath hotel in the film Spirited Away (Senn to Chihiro)

From left: My grandma, myself and Jessica infront of the "Kanaguya" hotel entrance

From left: Grandma, me and Jessica infront of the actual hotel

Above: One of the many baths in the hotel... in total they had 8 baths.... and there were more out in the alley way....those public baths you can share? There were 12 of them I think

31st: Packing and getting ready for my week of camping

August

1st - 7th: YMCA Nojiri Kitsutski Camp

YMCA camp is a camping organisation I`ve been attending the past 4 years and is quite the highlight for my summer holiday. The experience and friends I make there are just unforgettable and a thing for life.

Above: A picture of my whole group and the boys group and one other random person......

Back row from left: Shibako, Akira and Nanako

Front row from left: Kitchen, Riyo, Rie, me and Gouchann all planning the bonfire night programme late one night

From left: Some of the girls in my group Nanako, Otaka (the group leader), me, Shibako and Ecchan having lunch

Above: My age group girls and boys after we piled up the fire wood for the bonfire later on that day

Above: A pic of the street performer skill group I joined for the week of camping. At the YMCA everyone picks like a skill they want to learn. There is always loads of thing like yachts, rowing, art, sports, archery etc. and I picked Street Performance which I really enjoyed

Above: A shot with the fun and cool Torai and 3 other younger girls who I actually don`t even know that well....

From left: A picture of my group.... Nanako, Ecchan, Otaka (our group leader), Riyo, Rie and Shibako having our last dinner at the camp site

From left: A picture of the boys group in the same age category us my group....Kitchen (their group leader), Akira and Gouchann having their last dinner too

Above: My beloved little angel Saori and I posing in front of Lake Nojiri with our cool matching t-shirts on our last day before we board the boat

Above: A shot of Gouchann and me on the boat heading away from our beloved camp site and of course there`s Shibako in the background making funny faces

Above: Me receiving a BIG kiss from Rie, my lesbian lover....

Above: Some people who gathered up for dinner after we said our farewells at the YMCA centre in Tokyo after our week of camping at Lake Nojiri (Shouko, Shibako, Haruchann, Riyo, Souchann, Rie, Tetsuya and Takachann)

8th: Roppongi Hills with Satsuki

Satsuki was a classmate of mine from beloved JIS when I joined 12 years ago. Being so young when I left I never had contact with him but managed to find his contact through other old friends from JIS and I met him this summer. Was weird as we hadn`t seen each other in like 9 years!!

He took me out for lunch at this REALLY nice restaurant in Shibuya which I never knew existed and we went to Roppongi Hills then chilled out at a cafe just talking about old times and catching up on 9 years I suppose.

Above: A very beautiful view from the observatory at Roppongi Hills

9th: Shopping with Ayumi at Ikebukuro

10th: YMCA Nojiri Fukurou Camp (CIT)`s meeting with the director Mr.Sato

11th: Yoyogi Park with people fom the YMCA Nojiri Kitsutski Camp

Too hard to forget the fun and excitement we all shared togather at our week in Nojiri at the beginning of the month my two friends Riyo and Nanako organised an outing at Yoyogi park just for everyone to hang out and have fun.  Feeling slightly guilty I did nothing to help to organise the event I decided to be the entertainer for the whole day (10am till 10pm)suggesting games and things to do, buying enough refreshments and just making sure everyone was having a good time.

Above: A picture of all the people that were left around 7pm before we headed of to have dinner at a restaurant

Above: This time a picture with me in it...

Above: My friend Haruchan being silly with my frisbee.....very silly

From left: Haruchan, Denn and Saki at the restaurant we went for dinner after Yoyogi park

12th: BST Renunion

Since we actually hadn`t had any official BST renunions since the one at Kourakuenn like 2 years ago I thought I would organise one. Location wise we were thinking of Futako Tamagawa so we can do fireworks and just catch up with each other.....all was going well with everyone arriving at Shibuya (our meeting place) and most girls wearing yukatas (traditional cotton kimono for the summer season) and looking so gorgeous but then....it rained. Ah well, I just hope everyone still had fun because I did.

Above: A picture of Arisa and me at my grandma`s place where we got ready for the night

Above: A shot of Kanako and me. It was really nice to see hear again because we hadn`t seen each other since I left BST like 5 or 6 years ago

From left: Andrew and Shan, a very nice smiley shot of them too

From left: Adrian, Fumiyo and Kento, awww such a nice pic

The boys rom left: Adrian and Andy

The girsl from left: Rika and Arisa

From left: Sera, Arisa, Emmy, Elena and Katie all quite drenched from the rain

From left: Rika, me, Fumiyo, Kanako and Arisa, us girls wearing yukatas

Above: Another shot of Arisa and me

Above: A group photo of everyone (Adrian, Andy, Andrew, Arisa, Fumiyo, Kanako, Kento, Rika, Sera, Shan and me) thank you to all of you guys for actually coming and also to Emmy, Elena and Katie who left a bit earlier

13th: Date with Haruchan at the Tokyo Bay Firework Display

It`s weird how Haruchan is actually a "senpai" from the YMCA camp but I have never been camping with him and that we just know each other so well through loads of other people from the YMCA. Still, it was nice of him to ask me to go with him to the Tokyo Bay Firework Display because I had such a good time and hadn`t been to a big firework display in ages.

Above: A shot from the event

Above: A picture of Rainbow Bridge when Haruchann and I took the water boat taxi to the otherside of the shore once the fireworks had ended

14th: Guriko Group Renunion

Guriko Group is a group I went camping with 2 years ago and us 5 girls, our group leader and one of the camp site resident assitant all got along really well like one big family that we meet up every year when I come back to Japan. Seriously one big family....

From left: Kurara, me and Saori. Saori is my bestest best friend in Japan and is my little angel who I love to bits!! She was at the YMCA Nojiri Kitsutsuki Camp with me but unfortunately in a different group

From left: My cute Saori and Ari

Front row from left: Ari, Guriko and Kurara Back row from left: Saori, me, Mai and Q.....yeah I know, the poor old lady who took the picture for us had obviously never used a digital camera and cut Q`s head off and also didn`t quite tell us when she pressed the shutter down so we all don`t really looked prepared for the pic.

Above: Q, a better shot off him than the previous pic.

15th - 18th: Lake Kawaguchi Trip with ex-BST friends

Since our trip last year to Hakone for 2 nights and 3 days was so successful we decided to do another trip. This time we went to Lake Kawaguchi for 3 nights and 4 days and the memeber was Andrew, Reo, Shan, Yuri, Fumiyo and myself.....one of last years old member Adrian couldn`t make it which was a pity but thanx for still coming to Shinjuku and sending us off properly.

From left: Fumiyo, Shan and Andrew looking very happy as we arrived at Lake Kawaguchi and decided to look around the place

From left: Fumiyo, Reo and Yuri also looking very happy but this time with the finished postcards and bookmarker they made of pressed flowers at a work shop in this Herb House we found near the lake

From left: Shan and Fumiyo enjoying their ice cream....

And so is Andrew....

Above: The best shot I got of Mt. Fuji during the whole trip

Above: The boys pose infront of Lake Kawaguchi

Above: Fumiyo and me infront of Lake Kawaguchi too....

Above: Shot of Lake Kawaguchi and it`s only bridge

Above: For the evening we had a ever so serious game of scrabble.....so cool we are. You can actually see Andrews level of concentration and Fumiyo and my level of intelligence with just a 5 letter word of "voice" at least we have a "v" in it I suppose, lol

The Blueberry Jam Story....

Next day we went to a place where we can make blueberry jam and this is what the PHOTO`S show us that happened......

Yuri and Fumiyo concentrating on mixing their lovely jam....

So is Andrew and Reo...... BUT.....

Shan....what ARE you doing??

No..... I didn`t think you knew......

Anyway, atleast someones got the jam done.....

And Fumiyo is VERY happy....yum, yum, yum!

From left: Shan and Andrew sharing a special moment together... a VERY special moment

Fumiyo`s choice of fried noodles (yakisoba) is always a good choice but....

Shan`s crushed ice with syrup (kakigouri) is always better

Above: Fireworks for the evening (thanx to Reo, Yuri and Andrew for burning their fingers to light the damned things)

From left: Fumiyo and Shan content with the fireworks in progress

Above: The next day we decided to go walking up a few mountains and this lovely pathway was one of our routes to the top

Above: Fumiyo and Reo (and technically me) trying our best to catch up with Andrew and Shan who have shooted off ahead

Above: Would say a group photo but as you can see Yuri is missing. We had a bit of a drinking session last night and lets say he didn`t exactly wake up feeling too good

Above: Everyone quite content after having their lunch

Above: We decided to take the cable car down the mountain which had the best view of Lake Kawaguchi

Above: I know, were addicted to fireworks.....so, more fireworks that night

And more....

So, the next day, our last day we decided to go out on the actual Lake Kawaguchi with the rental row boats and we did paper scissors stone to pair off and it ended up quite odd.....

Above: Reo and Fumiyo, even from the distance I could see that Fumiyo was doing no rowing at all...poor Reo

Above: Shan and Yuri looking at....well, something

Above: And of course my fellow companion Andrew looking absolutely dashing

Above: And me!!

Above: Poor Shan can only express his feelings towards Fumiyo behind her back...

And so takes out his sorrows and stress by yelling at his food.....

Thanx to all you guys who made the Lake Kawaguchi Trip so fun! Here`s a bit of a artistic shot of Shans` guitar to remind you of the good times

19th: YMCA Nojiri Fukurou Camp - CIT Meeting

CIT is a programme the YMCA set up for 17 & 18 year olds to be trained to become group leaders and programme leaders. The training course takes place during the primary and secondary school childrens week of camping called YMCA Nojiri Fukurou Camp and us CIT people went to have a meeting about the upcoming week of camping.

From left: Gou, Ryu, Asuka and Ari all enjoying lunch at the very much loved Shakey`s at Takadanobaba

20th: Shopping with grandma

21st - 27th: YMCA Nojiri Fukurou Camp (CIT)

So after all the meetings and documents of what to and what not to do the last step before going was our camp names. Because we will be with younger children it is important that we have simple, easy names that they can remember easily so all group leaders, programme leaders, camp site resident assistance have camp names and as CIT`s we were told to have camp names and so we all sat down and thought of names for each other.

This side is their real name ~ This side is their camp name (it`s meaning)

Boys: Gou ~ Gouchann (Just a cute version of his name)

Hisashi ~ Ani (Means "brother" in Japanese)

Ryu ~ Piimann (Means "pepper" in Japanese)

Girls: Asuka ~ Hime (Means "princess" in Japanese)

Moe ~ Kuro (Means "black" in Japanese)

Yuri ~ Ari (Means "ant" in Japanese)

Rie ~ Hi-ho (Just taken from the song of Snow White)

Emi ~ Pyonn (The Japanese onomatopoeia for "hop" for a rabbit)

Above: Breakfast time for everyone...

Above: Ari serving out the CIT peoples breakfast onto our plates...yum

Above: And Ari also has a bit of a bad hair day...but still smiles

Above: On the other hand it seems my friend and currently a proud group leader, Tetsuya (camp name "Uzura" meaning "quail" in Japanese) woke up on the right side of his bed

Above: And morning exercise for everyone.....

From left: Me, Hime, Piiman, Kuro and Ari after preparing the wood for the bonfire later on in the night

Above: Everyone is close friends here...even when walking back to our cabin for a nap...

Above: Ani and others sharing quality time at night talking about many things before heading off to bed

Above: My cute Koharu and me taking a snap togther before we all have to go home....no one wants to say good bye

Above: My best shot at Lake Nojiri YMCA Campsite

Above: Shot of Lake Nojiri and the entrance to the YMCA campsite

Above: All the CIT and both the boys group leader and girls group leader

Back row from left: Ari, Hime, Rie and boys group leader Miino

Middle row from left: Me, Kuro and girls group leader Sadokana

Front row from left: Gouchann, Piimann and Ani

Back row from left: Ani, Gouchann, Miino , Piimann and Chika

Front row from left: Me, Ari, Kuro, Hime, Hi-ho and Sadokana

My camping days once again at Lake Nojiri was a unforgettable experience and I really want to go back next year again for the final CIT year. Thank you so much for all the fun, education and friendship people have given me. It is all my treasure.

28th: Recover from a hard busy week...

29th: Visited Sophia Universty (aka Jouchi Daigaku) and Waseda Universty with grandma

30th: Visited Rikkyou Universty on their open day and then at Shinjuku later on the day met up with Tetsuya, Hisashi and Takachann (all male friends from the YMCA) just to chill out and have a chat. We also all picked out a new pair of glasses for Tetsuya.

31st: Visited Rikkyou Universty again for more information my grandma and I couldn`t get the previous day and then chilled out with Tetsuya at Takadanobaba till dark and then because I was a bit down he bought some fireworks and took me to a near by park to light them up and tried cheering me up even though he was running late for a meeting, bless.

September

1st: Shopping with Ayumi in Harajuku

2nd: With Tetsuya, went to collect his glasses we picked out on the 30th and then at night went to Kichijouji for Kitchen Group & Otaka Groups "monjya" night

Tiff: It was  such a pity we couldn't meet up because both of us were so busy and you were ill for a short while. But hey, we're definitely gonna see more of each other now were here and we seriously need to organise that Christmas renunion for our ex JIS class!! Love you~!
